As a 1st Shift Production Supervisor at our 81st Street facility in Milwaukee, you will manage employees and operations to ensure a quality product is produced and delivered to the customer in a timely and efficient manner.

What you'll do:

• Be accountable for plant productivity and achieving annual production goals including quality and waste/scrap minimization.

• Supervise production employees in a manner that respects individuals and teams with an emphasis on personal growth.

• Promote responsibility, high expectations and open communications with the production employees, production management, and support employees.

• Foster a culture of trust, teamwork, safety, and Continuous Improvement.

What you'll need to have:

• High School Diploma or GED.

• 5+ years of experience in a related industry, or a combination of education and experience.

• Demonstrated supervisory and leadership skills.

• Proven verbal and written communication skills.

• Self-motivated with a strong sense of personal accountability.

• Demonstrated problem-solving skills.

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office software products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Other things we'd like to see:

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Metallurgy or related degree.

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.

• Experienced in application of Lean Manufacturing initiatives.

• Trained in Continuous Improvement, Green or Black Belt Certification in Six Sigma discipline, and Lean methodologies.
