Job SummaryThis position is available in the department of Cell Biology in the Electron Microscopy Core Facility (EMCF). The EMCF provides transmission and scanning electron microscopy, as well as other services, including correlative light and electron microscopy (CLEM) and immunogold labeling.
The successful candidate will be supporting users for experimental design, image acquisition, and analysis for EM applications, addressing cell and tissue biology. Experience in electron microscopy applications and sample preparation is a plus. Candidate needs to be technology minded, a team player with strong social, communication and didactic skills, as well as, well organized, structured and able to plan and execute tasks.
Experience and EducationCompletion of two years of specialized training in Medical Technology area; or completion of two years of college with emphasis in Biology or related field and one year laboratory work as coursework.
