Overview

Pediatrix Neonatology of Houston, an affiliate of Pediatrix Medical Group, is seeking an outstanding Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join our practice at HCA Southeast Houston Hospital, located in Pasadena, TX, a thriving suburb of Houston.



Responsibilities

We are looking for experienced NNPs who want to be a part of an amazing group of 3 NNPs and 24 Neonatologists. An exceptional new graduate will also be considered

  • 14 bed Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) with an average daily census of 8-10 babies
  • Over 2,500 deliveries per year; 300 NICU admissions per year
  • A positive and collaborative environment is facilitated by a very supportive relationship between physicians and APRNs.
  • 24/7 NNP coverage with on-call neonatologist at night.
  • Flexible 24 or 48 hour shifts support an excellent work-life balance.
  • Our physicians and APRNs use a multidisciplinary team approach in managing clinical care.
  • Leadership, policy development, mentoring, educational, and quality improvement opportunities.
  • Strong, APRN-led Leadership Team
