As the only destination for software and services driven by independent, objective research and verified customer reviews, we help connect providers with in-market buyers to fuel growth across the full funnel.

For candidates interested in taking their next career step, Gartner Digital Markets offers the best of two worlds-the stability and resources of a large, established organization combined with the fast pace and excitement of working for a dynamic growth business. Our team is on the front lines of innovation in an industry that is always transforming, providing an incredible opportunity for you to grow and learn throughout your career.

What we're looking for:
The Senior Strategic Business Development Executive's role will focus on attracting new PPL & PPC software clients in our Strategic Channel to engage in marketing campaigns to drive their business growth. The successful associate will source new sales opportunities and close sales to achieve quotas. You will play a key role in increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects and managing sales of products and services. You'll use your black belt skills to sell both PPC and PPL to our largest client base - strategic accounts.

Why you'll want to come to work:

  • Identify the highest-leverage opportunities for Pay-Per-Click and Pay-Per-Lead campaigns within your territory of large, global software vendors.

  • Utilize black-belt discovery skills to understand business objectives, mission critical priorities and key initiatives.

  • Build a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities within software vendor marketing and sales teams.

  • Evaluate a prospective customer's strengths, provide insights for areas where they can improve, and build trust-based value-added relationships.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and colleagues to ensure successful onboarding and campaign performance.

  • Master and consistently execute internal sales methodology and demonstrate sales leadership through coaching and mentoring.

What you'll bring to the team:

  • Bachelor's degree is desired

  • 5+ years of proven consultative sales experience in technology (services or software)

  • Proven, consistent success in your current and prior roles

  • Able to solve complex problems and successfully manage ambiguity and unexpected change

  • Be teachable and open to best practices and feedback as a means of continuous improvement. Be consistent at delivering results through perseverance, humility, and a positive outlook in the face of challenges.

  • Must be comfortable selling to, challenging and building trust-based, value-added relationships

  • Professionally persistent while prospecting and managing senior-level relationships within large global enterprises

  • Proven experience building excellent client relationships, offering value added, insightful and strategic vision into their business

  • Knowledge of the full life cycle of the sales process from prospecting to close

Don't meet every single requirement? We encourage you to apply anyway. You might just be the right candidate for this, or other roles.
