Senior Employee Experience Partner

The Senior Employee Experience Partner plays a crucial role in supporting our business objectives by fostering a positive work culture that is respectful and inclusive, promoting employee engagement, and supporting a full range of HR operations objectives.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Communication

Encourages open conversations between employees and management. Create platforms where employees feel comfortable expressing their thoughts, concerns, and ideas.

Translate complex HR policies into clear, understandable language for employees. Ensure consistent communication about policies, benefits, and procedures.

Implements feedback systems (such as surveys or regular check-ins) to gather insights from employees, using this feedback to improve the overall employee experience.

  • Resolving Employee Concerns and Complaints:

Addresses concerns when employees face work-related issues or conflicts.

Facilitates productive discussions and identifies solutions; ensures a fair resolution.

  • Conducting Investigations:

Conducts investigations into any allegations of inappropriate employee or manager behavior (such as harassment, discrimination, or policy violations) or general workplace concerns, with the goal of uncovering facts and making informed decisions.

  • Developing and Implementing Engagement, Appreciation and Recognition Programs:

Acts as a business partner and advisor to the HR Director, Site Leadership Team and General Manager.

Provides guidance and advice on employee relations issues, HR policy and practice, and compliance matters.

Create and execute programs and strategies to foster a respectful and inclusive work environment that optimizes organizational performance and aims to enhance employee satisfaction and engagement. Examples include:

Recognition and Appreciation: Communicate appreciation for employees' contributions. Recognize achievements publicly to boost morale.

Celebrate Milestones: Acknowledge work anniversaries, birthdays, and other milestones. Celebrate as a team.

  • Providing Counseling and Advice:

Offers coaching and guidance to employees and managers regarding employment-related matters. This could include advice on performance improvement, conflict resolution, or career development.

  • Identifying Legal Risks and Ensuring Compliance:

Stays informed about employment laws and regulations.

Works with the HR Director to Identify legal risks and helps the organization maintain compliance with relevant laws.

  • Guiding Management on Employee Relations Policies:

Provides advice to management regarding employee relations policies and procedures.

Helps ensure consistency and fairness in handling employee issues.

  • Training Managers and Employees:

Develops and conducts training sessions for both managers and employees on topics that foster a positive workplace culture.

  • Developing and Revising HR Policies:

Works with HR Director on the development, revision, and implementation of human resources policies and procedures, ensuring they support positive workplace culture, align with the organization's policies and legal requirements.

  • Monitoring Trends in Employee Feedback:

Tracks employee feedback and leads to corrective action plans that ensure a proactive approach to resolution and improves overall employee satisfaction.

  • Supporting the Performance Management Process:

Collaborates with managers during performance evaluation period to create a positive performance management experience for employees.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Intermediate computer skills (MS Excel, MS Word, and ADP Applications). Experience with Workday is a plus.
  • Ability to perform work at the tactical and strategic level.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field required. Master's degree in Human Resources or a related field a plus.
  • 5+ years of related experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
