The Land Advisor is accountable for senior-level Land Contract Administration functions to support operational pipeline and facility activities and project support. They oversee the outsourcing of land administration functions to contractors and external land service providers

What You Will Do:
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of critical data and contracts that support, confirm and validate the corporation's land rights to ensure unhampered access to our Right-of-Ways and our ability to operate the assets

  • Accountable to provide Land Contract Administration services for the ongoing operations of L&R's supported BUs (LP, GTM, Gas Storage)

  • Maintain accurate, organized and quality records management and data of Land information and Identify and mitigate errors or flaws in records supporting our Land Rights

  • Conduct, coordinate and/or supervise contract preparation activities related to land rights for projects and operations. Manage and coordinate landowner notifications and communication.

  • Monitor Land payments made for operations and project purposes, including lease payments; and update databases and spreadsheets accordingly. This includes ensuring accurate coding and that all payments are tracked and managed according to payment policies.

Who You Are:
  • 4 or more years of right-of-way experience. Undergraduate degree/diploma in land management or related field or 2 additional years of related experience. Equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered,

  • Proficient understanding of legal issues related to land rights management

  • Ability to interpret Land and Right-of-Way legal agreements, titles and deeds

  • Must have the ability to analyze legal plans and engineering drawings

  • Experience with Federal and State regulators. Proficient with current information technology platforms including GIS
