Primary Responsibilities

In the role of Health Planner, we will look for you to:

  • Provide planning, design and coordination support on projects
  • Engage in problem solving, teamwork, critical thinking, mathematical reasoning, and visualization to create accurate and detailed drawings
  • Prepare drawings and specification documents
  • Research, plan, design and administer building projects for clients, applying knowledge of design construction procedures, zoning and building codes, and building materials
  • Review, distribute and file submittals, shop drawings, material data and samples
  • Assist the Project Manager's efforts to coordinate the structural, mechanical, electrical and civil disciplines throughout the design process in preparation of the final working drawings
  • Perform other duties as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or closely related field
  • Must have knowledge of healthcare architecture planning and design.
  • Understanding of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, prints, drawings and models
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated and flexible
  • Knowledge of materials, methods and tools involved in the construction of buildings
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
  • Strong organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years experience in A/E industry
  • Master's degree in Architecture
  • Healthcare related coursework
  • Must have met the qualifications of the scholar program
