Primary Responsibilities

In the role of Quality & Records Coordinator we'll count on you to serve as the local representative within the departments for the Quality Office, and support the development and implementation of the organizations Quality Management System (QMS). Specific responsibilities of the role may be achieved through a full-time employee, part-time employee, or a distributed team depending on individual department needs. Provide guidance to Project Managers regarding development of project plans (e.g., PMP, QMP, RMP). Assist Project Managers in identifying best practices for their projects when requested. Regularly report department QMS implementation and audit resolution strategies to the RQD. Communicate QMS updates and Quality Office directives to the department leadership and staff as appropriate. Identify QMS related needs of local Project Managers and leadership and communicate to the Quality Office. Monitor the proper scheduling and completion of QA and QC activities through the department's use of the QMIS. Develop and update local department processes which support implementation of QMS requirements (this includes ILG). Review and comment on pending company procedures during assigned comment periods. Identify Project Managers needing support in properly implementing QMS and local department process requirements. Work with new employees in on-boarding and awareness of the HDR QMS and its role in our organization. Respond to staff questions or issues related to policies and procedures related to the organization's QMS. Identify local opportunities for training and support through monitoring loss trends due to quality related issues.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years in similar consulting industry.
  • A minimum of 2 years in quality or process related functions.
  • Ability to develop an understanding of QMS fundamentals.
  • Proven skills in the areas of staff communication and engagement.
  • Strong verbal and written communication with investigative interview experience.
  • Strong familiarity with MS Excel, Word, Adobe PDF and PowerPoint.
