This position is 20 hours per week, flexible between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. Extended Education Ventures offers a flexible work arrangement that enables working from home for most of the time, with time spent in-person and on-campus, as needed.

Must be eligible to work in the US on a full-time basis for any employer without sponsorship.

Purpose

This person will support the implementation of a variety of digital and marketing-technology projects for several continuing and professional education programs across the University.

The position works closely with the marketing project manager and other members of the marketing team at Extended Education Ventures to ensure implementation of key projects that are instrumental to the team's success. The successful candidate must be able to work both independently and collaboratively and must manage their projects with minimum oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Marketo Migration: Follow departmental documentation to aid in the migration of EEV's existing Marketo instance to a new Marketo instance. Create new Marketo programs and update migrated programs, with guidance from Marketing Project Manager. Work with implementation vendors to complete migration and optimize new instance as needed.

  • Consent Management Platform Implementation: Working closely with the Marketing Project Manager, stand up new consent management platform to comply with privacy regulations. Evaluate, build and execute banners per supported website. Test efficacy of additions and coordinate with Google properties. Iterate for new websites as added to portfolio.

  • General Marketing Support: Assist in execution of marketing strategies for existing and new clients. Tasks could include writing email copy, adding content to webpages, collaborating on social media campaigns, managing the creation and implementation of content marketing and optimizing digital advertising tactics, depending on the candidate's exact experience and the nature of the work required.

  • Team Collaboration & Admin: Collaborate with the EEV marketing team and other stakeholders daily. Utilize Asana to manage project tasks and coordinate communication between team members. Attend meetings to give status updates on project progress and to learn about new initiatives entering your purview. Research marketing technology tools and platforms, as needed.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and more than two years of related professional experience. Experience working independently and remotely in a highly-collaborative team environment. Experience utilizing Marketo as a marketer, including executing email, default, event and engagement programs, as well as navigating Design Studio. Understanding of digital marketing strategies, especially around Google ads. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communications. Professional demeanor, strong customer service ethic, and good attention to detail.

Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience marketing continuing, professional, and online education within a higher education setting. Knowledge of html/css coding for landing page and email templates. Experience utilizing complex tokens in Marketo. Experience with consent management platforms. Experience with Asana, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, PhotoShop, WordPress and Drupal.

Salary Range

$20.00 hourly + depending on qualifications
