Who we're looking for

The Dealer Lending Portfolio Supervisor is responsible for leading a regional team that will monitor the Commercial Loan portfolio and serves as an escalation point and SPOC for their regional team, Dealer Lending and Field Sales and for managing and developing a team of representatives that are accountable for all aspects of Commercial Loan Portfolio Management. The position requires attention to detail, analytical skills, the ability to prioritize and adapt to changing deadlines, excellent communication, and a desire to work in a team. The Dealer Lending Portfolio Supervisor will be responsible for the development and execution of credit portfolio risk monitoring activities, including analytics and process enhancements. The focus will be on commercial loan risk management and excellent customer service to our internal and external customers.

What you'll be doing

  • Review own portfolio along multiple metrics to identify risks. These areas include, but are not limited to:

Audit performance. Release patterns. Overlimit/line utilization. Crowe Workflow. General financial metrics. Submission of follow-up items and financial covenants.

  • Through the review of these items, any significant issues that are identified should be resolved and/or elevated as needed.
  • Act as a point of contact both internally and externally for issues that arise related to a portfolio of commercial accounts.
  • Research issues, identify solutions, and work directly with dealership personnel/internal stakeholders to address the issues and provide insight.
  • Facilitate open communication channels between various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Create and deliver meaningful, sustainable value to customers by anticipating needs and expectations and providing appropriate value-add solutions.
  • Collaborate with Dealer Lending groups such as Underwriting, Risk, Servicing, Audit, Special Assets as well as Field Sales to obtain information from our customers including, but not limited to:

    Approval contingencies

    Financial statements

    Organizational documents

    Covenants compliance information

    Rationale on items such as overlines, changes to the financial statement, poor audit performance

Qualifications

What you bring

  • Four-Year College Degree (BA or BS]
  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience (in similar field and/or industry)
  • Commercial Automotive experience at a captive finance company
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
