Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated Territory Account Manager to join our dynamic sales team for Commercial Accounts in America, specifically to sell the VMware by Broadcom solutions. This role requires a personable individual with excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for managing sales within an assigned territory, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving revenue growth through effective territory planning with the partner ecosystem in the Territory, pipeline management and strategic relationship-building.

Responsibilities:

Territory Management:

  • Manage sales activities within assigned territory to meet and exceed revenue targets.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and prospects within the territory

Pipeline Management:

  • Efficiently manage the sales pipeline to ensure timely renewal of support or subscription contracts

  • Identify and pursue opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional solutions to existing customers

Customer Engagement:

  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and present innovative solutions that address their challenges and objectives

  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to customers to maximize their utilization and satisfaction with our solutions

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Product Development, to drive customer success and achieve sales objectives

Subscription Model Expertise:

  • Possess a solid understanding of subscription-based business models and the ability to articulate the value proposition of our offerings to customers

Technology Proficiency:

  • Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems to track sales activities and manage customer relationships

  • Experience with quoting systems to generate accurate quotes and proposals for customers

Channel Partner Management:

  • Work closely with Distributors and Resellers to support sales efforts and facilitate channel partner relationships

Performance-driven:

  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate the ability to work under pressure to achieve sales targets and objectives

Qualifications:

  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service

  • Previous experience working with partners in the Software industry is desirable

  • Familiarity with subscription-based business models and sales processes.

  • Proficiency in using CRM systems, quoting tools, and other sales enablement technologies

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively engage with customers and stakeholders

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently manage sales activities within assigned territory

  • 5+ years of technology related sales or account management experince

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred. Relevant years of experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.

Additional Job Description:

Compensation and Benefits

The On Target Earnings (OTE) range for this position is $75,000 - $125,000.

OTE includes Sales Incentive Commission in accordance with relevant plan documents. This position is also eligible for equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
