Summary:

The Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) is responsible for completing assessments and evaluations of equipment for our pediatric patients. The ATP will work closely with physicians and therapists, providing in-home assessments, complex fittings, and maintenance of all related required documentation. This position provides enabling technology in the areas of wheeled mobility, seating and alternative positioning, ambulation assistance, environmental control, augmented communication, and activities of daily living. In addition, this position will assist or oversee equipment technicians and internal staff assigned to custom equipment as appropriate.

Education & Experience:

  • At least 2 years of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) / Rehab equipment experience.

  • Must have excellent communication and customer service skills to work with families and children.

  • Experience working with pediatric patients.

  • Must be able to load, unload, set up, and demonstrate any custom rehab equipment being delivered.

  • Must be familiar with the current regulatory environment in this field.

  • Must be knowledgeable on products available.

Certification/Licensure:

  • Current RESNA (ATP) certification recognized in the state of Texas.

  • Valid Driver's License with good driving record.
