Job Description

ChampionX is seeking an Administrative Assistant located in Odessa, TX to primarily be responsible for providing logistics support while maintaining safe operations.

What Will You Do:

  • Prepare shipping documents, BOL, etc., for outbound shipments
  • Order plant and general office supplies
  • Post out inventory quantities in SAP
  • Maintain appropriate filing systems
  • Maintain spreadsheets for tracking of performance indicators
  • Provide administrative support to plant staff
  • Process invoice payments and follow up
  • Assist plant with AP functions
  • Submit and reconcile expense reports
  • Provide backup coverage for other administrative positions
  • Follow all safety policies and company-wide safety requirements; encourage action assuring safe behavior; confront unsafe behavior and conditions proactively and positively

Position Details:

  • This will be a local position at the Odessa, TX plant.
  • Work week and shift: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

Minimum Qualifications:

  • All candidates must have the ability to speak, read and write English
  • Minimum high school graduate or GED
  • 2 years basic administration skills
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a high pace environment.
  • Experience in SAP
  • Strong aptitude in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • No immigration sponsorship offered
  • This position requires good communication skills and the ability to deal with various levels of employees, management, and third-party employees as required
