We are looking for a PCB Designer to become part of a growing global organization with a focus on execution, technology, and culture. In this role, you will collaborate with internal engineering groups to receive design specifications and complete PCB designs primarily for Applications, Validation, Reliability and ATE requirements. This role is located in Austin, TX and is not eligible for visa sponsorship
Responsibilities
Designing multilayer high-density interconnect printed circuits often consisting of multiple lamination cycles and via structures
Adhere to DFM, DFF, DFT as well as relevant IPC specifications such as IPC-6012
Presenting designs in engineering design reviews and implementing feedback
Performing to schedules and ensuring timelines are met by working closely with a team of PCB designers, Engineers, and Planners
Be able to handle multiple sources of input and feedback per design resulting in a high-quality end product
Required skills and qualifications
10+ years of PCB design experience with strong knowledge of HDI design and PCB fab and assembly
Expert level understanding of Mentor Graphics PADS/ Logic or Mentor Graphics Xpedition/Designer
Strong team mentality with an ability to teach others on standard processes and methodologies
Expertise in design of multi-lam, blind and buried via, and sub .4mm pitch applications
Preferred skills and qualifications
2-year technical degree or better
3+ years experience with Mentor Graphics Xpedition
Familiarity designing for ATE systems such as Ultraflex, Ultraflex Plus, J750HD
Familiarity with micro BGA and WLCSP packages and breakout strategies
