Job Description

The Air Combat Command's 67th Cyberspace Wing (67 CW), 346th Test Squadron (346TS)plans, executes, and contributes as both an operational and participating test organization in a full array of operational tests of various cyber weapons in coordination with the 318 Range Squadron (318RANS) who provides instrumented cyber range services, through both physical hardware and virtual systems.

In support of this mission, ANALYGENCE is seeking aWindows Administratorresponsible for setting up and maintaining a system or specific components of a system including installing, configuring, and updating hardware and software; establishing and managing user accounts; overseeing or conducting backup and recovery tasks; implementing operational and technical security controls; and adhering to organizational security policies and procedures.

  • Maintain network configuration diagrams of network components.
  • Maintain lists, either electronic or manual of all hardware and software supporting SCA testing.
  • Maintain configuration baselines for the approved systems and components.
  • Install, configure, and test local area network (LAN) hardware and software components and cabling.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, document, resolve and report problems as they are encountered IAW 67 CW and industry standards and methodologies.
  • "Monitor for updates" and install vendor security patches and measures IAW Defense Information System Agency (DISA) Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM), Time Compliance Network Order (TNTO), Cyber Control Order (CCO), Maintenance Tasking Order (MTO) and any other orders developed and released by Higher Headquarters. Verify that patches or measures were installed successfully.
  • Implement security recommendations for missions and support functions.
  • Backup and restore application and operating system software and data.
  • Establish and maintain all assets including: firewalls, DNS, Windows Internet Name Service (WINS), Exchange services, routers, Storage Area Networks (SANs) and Cross Domain Solution (CDS).
  • Integrate approved assessment tools.
  • Modify systems IAW with approved change request process.
  • Document and track configuration and assets.
  • Test tools, network subsystems and interfaces.
  • Current Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of 3years of relative experience.
  • IAT Level II certification required.
  • Experience with network security architecture concepts including topology, protocols, components, and principles (e.g., application of defense-in-depth).
  • Applied knowledge ofnetwork protocols such as TCP/IP, Dynamic Host Configuration, Domain Name System (DNS), and directory services.
  • Experience with risk management processes (e.g., methods for assessing and mitigating risk).
  • Experience conducting system/server planning, management, and maintenance.
  • Ability to implement organization's goals and objectives to develop and maintain architecture.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
