M1 is looking for an Egress Specialist with the following knowledge and experience: CLASSIFICATION SUMMARY Performs aircraft egress system repair/maintenance tasks under technical guidance and supervision. Coordinates maintenance activities with senior egress personnel as required. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Performs maintenance and inspections of aircraft egress systems. 2. Performs canopy rigging/fitting of aircraft canopy drive and locking systems. 3. Performs/assists in performing system troubleshooting tasks. 4. Performs operational checks of assigned systems. 5. Completes all necessary manual and automated records required by USAF and Company directives. 6. Complies with the requirements of the FOD prevention, housekeeping, tool control, environmental and safety programs. 7. Follows technical data, manuals, regulations, and other maintenance directives as directed. 8. Performs other related duties as assigned. In addition, the candidate should possess the following requirements: CLASSIFICATIONS QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge - A working knowledge of the repair of aircraft egress systems and of the use of associated schematic diagrams, charts and drawing is required. Knowledge of the applicable technical orders, related publications and safety regulations is required. Education -Completion of high school or the equivalent is required. Completion of specialized courses is desired. The ability to read and write and to comprehend technical data is required. Experience - A minimum of two (2) Years' of experience in aircraft egress system maintenance and completion of specialized egress system maintenance courses is required. (Course J3ABR2A633-00) Special Conditions -Good verbal and written skills and leadership ability are required. Must be able to lift a minimum weight of 50 lbs., stand for prolonged periods of time, and have the ability to climb ladders and stairs. Normal color vision is required. Possession of a valid driver's license is necessary to obtain flight line driving privileges.
