Job Description
  • Order and schedule loads from vendors, including Plastipak.
  • Accurately identify materials and determine their key storage areas.
  • Accurately identify and haul materials to their key storage areas and to production lines.
  • Receive UPS-type packages, keys information into computer and delivers packages.
  • Handle all items shipped out and corresponding paperwork.
  • Record all transactions needed for any hauling activity.
  • Requires understanding of paperwork related to receiving (bills of lading, packing slips, etc.)
  • Supports other shifts, as required business need.
  • Move materials and supplies using forklifts (requires forklift certification), hand jack and other devices.
  • Efficient care and operation of any assigned forklift.
  • Relieves others for breaks.
  • Adhere to all safety rules and GMPs.
  • This person has the responsibility to operate under the Kraft Heinz Safety Values.
  • Adhere to all safety and environmental policies, procedures and compliance programs.
  • Work toward acieving an injury free environment.
  • Ability to use computerized inventory control/distribution systems.
  • Accurately record inventory movement into Kraft WMS-Matrics.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Computer experience preferred. Must be able to read and interpret instructions, forecasts and other work-related documents, write clearly and legibly and communicate information verbally to other employees of the organization.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Basic computer skills.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
