POSITION PURPOSE

The Customer Marketing Specialist splays a crucial role in the marketing department. The role owns the planning, creation, and management of marketing content, campaigns, and promotions primarily in the digital landscape; serves as the liaison between sales, customer care and marketing; supports CRM platforms; and manages accessories.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

  • Plans, develops, deploys, and maintains all customer facing marketing content such as printed and digital collateral, advertising campaigns, promotions, newsletters, nurturing campaigns, podcast development, video production, websites, landing pages, tradeshow material and sales resources
  • Serves as the marketing point-person for sales and customer care supporting cross-departmental marketing needs, customer/distributor requests, and sales needs
  • Owns product accessory development, lifecycle, and inventory management
  • Supports and maintains CRM platforms, maintain resource libraries across platforms, reports on metrics, and guides SEO/SEM efforts to optimize the customer's journey through the funnel

PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS

  • Achieve people goals: complete PMP process and required training on time
  • Support achievement of financial target: Net Sales, VM, OI
  • Content Development: develop and deploy campaigns according to schedule
  • User Metrics: achieve defined user metrics on digital marketing platforms
  • Campaigns: achieve set campaign goals and metrics within budget
  • Business Health: support quarterly business reviews
  • Cross-functional Support: support sales, customer care and other function promptly and satisfactory

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:

  • Strong planning, organizing and time management skills

  • Working knowledge of CRM, Hubspot, Salesforce is a plus

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • At least 1 year experience in marketing role preferably in product marketing and B2B environment

  • Experience in foodservice or related B2B industries is desired

  • Experience with website and newsletter content development

  • Experience managing a small inventory is a plus

BASE SALARY

  • $65,000 - $75,000
