Risk Management Analyst is responsible for executing all transactional and administrative functions for the Risk Management department within the Treasury function. Transactional activities include the receipt and process for payment of all Risk Management related invoices, as well as the appropriate allocation of costs internally. Administrative activities include the distribution of requested certificates of insurance, auto identification cards, and other forms of evidence of insurance as required by the business.

The role will also be expected to perform review of Insurance Requirement contractual language and support Legal and Supply Chain functions in their negotiations with third parties. Daily interaction with external support resources to the Risk Management department, such as insurance brokers and third-party adjusters, will be required.

As the Risk Management Analyst, will have the following responsibilities:

  • Collecting and processing of Risk Management related invoices within the applicable SAP accounts payable system
  • Accountable for timely and accurate internal allocation of Risk Management related costs to the operating business segments
  • Driving effective communication of quarterly costs incurred by Risk Management with both the FP&A department within Treasury and the Accounting function
  • Managing both internal and external certificate of insurance (COI) production platforms and the effective delivery of requested COIs to the business
  • Accountable for the timely delivery of Auto Identification cards to the business segments, as required
  • Responsible for the periodic collection of all KYC/AMLA information from local in-country Baker Hughes entities, in order to support new insurance placements and/or renewal insurance programs
  • Performing timely review of third party requested changes to our template Insurance Requirement language, in order to support Legal and Supply Chain functions through the Procurement process
  • Managing the Risk Management department's brand and interface through various internal share site platforms
  • Supporting logistical work between third party risk engineering surveyors and operational site contacts in order to enable periodic risk surveys

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Bachelor's degree or associate certificate equivalent, from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum of two years' experience within the insurance industry or risk management field
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills, with a focus on continually developing leadership qualities

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and problem solve in small group dynamics
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and execute a given task and/or project within established timeframes
