Job Summary | Counselors within the center provide brief individual counseling, crisis services, outreach, advocacy, workshops, and therapy groups. The center works as a collaborative team around initiatives to enhance mental health services for the students at UT Dallas. Counselors at this time are offering both in-person and virtual mental health services and are allotted one work-from-home day/week. |
Minimum Education and Experience | - Master's degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Clinical Social Work from an accredited program and clinical independent licensure in the state of Texas before start date; OR doctoral degree in Counseling or Clinical Psychology from an APA accredited Program and licensure as a psychologist within the first year of employment - 1 year of related experience - Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with a multidisciplinary team of professionals - Strong clinical skills and ability to maintain up to date and accurate documentation |

Remote Work Statement: After the probationary period, this role may be eligible for a hybrid (partly remote/partly in office) work schedule, subject to business need and manager approval. Must be located within the DFW Area and have the ability to be on campus with 24 hours of notice. A UT Dallas Remote Work Agreement will be required within 14 days after approval.
