As the Senior Category Manager Contract Manufacturing & Sterilization, you will participate in developing and implementing the procurement contract manufacturing strategy in alignment with overall business objectives. You will play a critical role in optimizing and streamlining contract manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and internal/external stakeholder experience. This position will also work closely with various departments such as Sales, Demand Planning, Procure to Pay, Finance, Business Development, Legal, and Quality Assurance to support product supply for all current and future CMO products.

This position reporting to the Global Director of MTO Category Procurement, is responsible for data-driven procurement initiatives driving actionable insights, and partnering closely with the external supply operations team. As well as providing strategic solutions to support leaders and company objectives in Fort Worth, Texas!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Negotiate reasonable and efficient contracts with sterilizers & contract manufacturers that involves a high degree of complexity.

  • Work closely with the external supply operations team to ensure strategic and business criteria alignment.

  • Improve supplier relationships by promoting and supervising the implementation of a coordinated supply chain involving key collaborators.

  • Implement standard processes and ensure adherence to established Procurement policies and procedures.

  • Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate contracts to optimize cost and service levels.

  • Perform market analysis to provide data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making.

Key Requirements/Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school+15 yrs; Assoc.+11 yrs; M.S.+4 yrs; PhD+3 yrs)

  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English

  • 7 Years of Proven Experience

Preferred Requirements:
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with all internal and external partners and lead discussion, problem solving efforts and process improvements to ensure that performance targets are met or exceeded.

  • Strong understanding of data governance principles and standard processes.

  • Ability to communicate sophisticated data insights to non-technical partners.

  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and team management skills.

  • Ability to handle multiple projects at one time.

  • Proven experience in procurement operations management with a focus on Contract Manufacturing.
