Job Description

LCRA's Water Watershed Quality Engineering and Planning team is looking for an engineer with strong technical capabilities in stormwater management and civil land development . The program implements water quality ordinances through comprehensive plan reviews and inspections for new developments and dredging projects in the Highland Lakes region. This position plays a meaningful role in protecting the water supply for more than a million people. Our mission is to improve the lives of Central Texas and our team is dedicated to service with safety focus as top priority!

You will be trusted to:

  • Review construction plans to ensure compliance with LCRA rules
  • Communicate detailed instructions relative to permitting and ensuring compliance with the applicable design criteria
  • Communicating with the public to inform them of specific aspects of the regulations.

You qualify with:

  • Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas
  • Driver's license

Four years of civil land development and/or water quality design experience
