What The Role Is

Reporting the Distributed Generation (DG) Customer Operations department, the DG Revenue Assurance Associate is responsible for leading and supervising a team, owning the execution and validation of the controls and processes related to customer revenue recognition and data quality that are necessary to process monthly Customer invoices.

The primary objective is to Institute overall Quality Assurance and Compliance of various revenue transaction activities to ensure correct processes, codes, transaction types, etc., are applied to accounts in a timely manner in accordance with Clearway business rules and processes.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Manage day-to-day operational relationships with third-party Utilities for the extraction, validation and delivery of the monthly project and customer generation inputs for the customer billing cycles.
  • Checks/exports and verifies the accuracy of the files/reports downloaded from the Utilities.
  • Prepare and deliver billing file inputs for third-party invoicing.
  • Responsible for ensuring customer bills are generated accurately and on-time via Third Party vendor.
  • Ensure billing data is interfacing efficiently and timely to credit, settlements, and the general ledger. Reconcile disparate systems to ensure biller and financials align with one another
  • Responsible for identifying billing management SLAs and ensuring billing exceptions are being worked timely
  • Lead team and activities by developing reporting and dashboards to identify exceptions to business and process rules, identify opportunities to increase internal controls, and drive awareness of our overall success in those efforts
  • Documents new processes and updates Procedure Manual and Process Flow Charts for changes in procedures.
What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance and/or Computer Science or Information Systems, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in a Business Operations role, or a related field
  • At least 1 to 2 years of supervisor or manager experience
  • Previous experience in the retail energy or solar industry preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM system
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Partner management/collaboration skills
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; effectively balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Previous experience in the energy industry preferred

The pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, relevant and demonstrated experience, education, training and certifications, and other factors permitted by law. This role is eligible to earn an annual cash bonus, subject to personal and company performance goals.

Salary Range Across all U.S. Locations
$90,000$135,000 USD
