LCRA is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join our team. As a part of LCRA's EMS networking team, your expertise will help to ensure network system reliability and security. You will work with young, motivated team members to manage and operate a most mission critical network infrastructure at LCRA. The energy management system is our central sophisticated brain that allows power operators to fully remotely operate all electrical devices located at nearly 400 remote substations in Texas. You and the team will play a crucial role in ensuring all data exchanged within network securely and reliably. You will be trusted to: -Responsible for design, implementation, and maintenance associated with the EMS and SUBWAN network. |
You qualify with: - Nine or more years of experience in a technical field, computer science, engineering, network systems or relevant experience. You are a great fit with: - Knowledge of EMS/Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) applications or prior work experience in a mission critical or controls environment. - Responding to operation center when on call (must have 1 hour response max) |
