We are seeking a motivated, technical, and self driven associate to join our team to develop agreements supporting LCRA Transmission Services Corporation's electric transmission and transformation infrastructure. We work in a fast-paced environment, collaborate in cross functional teams, and communicate effectively with transmission customers to provide best in industry service. You will support our interconnection portfolio leads working on projects with electric utilities and governmental entities. This is an outstanding opportunity within the transmission engineering team to grow your knowledge of the electric transmission business while being on the forefront of projects to reliably serve Texans! You will be trusted to:

* Draft interconnection agreements, tariffed service agreements, and other electric utility agreements.
* Collaborate with design engineers, system planners, project managers, and legal staff to define agreements during project scope definition in alignment with LCRA TSC's requirements and standards.
* Support interconnection requests and projects modifying existing facilities from initiation through the facilities design process.
* Build strong working relationships with transmission customers to define project responsibilities and ownership during scoping.
* Develop technical exhibits for agreements such as one-lines, diagrams, and maps.
* Maintain assignment information in interconnection databases and workflow tools.

You qualify with:

- Six or more years of experience in engineering, project management, transmission planning, substation/ power facilities design, or other relevant experience. A degree(s) in engineering, project management, business or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.

- Driver's license

You are a great fit with:

* Experience working in the electric utility industry (transmission and/or distribution systems).
* Experience interpreting drawings or designing electric utility infrastructure.
* Knowledge in the use of AutoCAD, Google Earth, or GIS mapping tools.
* Strong practiced and fundamental understanding of interconnection processes and requirements.
