The Cloud Administrator will research, configure, implement, and maintain various cloud-based enterprise applications. The Cloud Administrator ensures that CSD's enterprise architecture is implemented using established policies and industry best practices. They will also maintain all systems with the most recent updates and patches. Through a customer-centric approach, the Cloud Administrator works independently but is also an integral part of the Information Technology team, ensuring that the highest level of service is provided to all customers.

Requirements
  • Designs, engineers, and manages the implementation of new and existing cloud-based technologies, including video communications technology
  • Configure, manage, and maintain an assortment of virtual machines in AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Azure
  • Configure, manage, and maintain a mixed OS environment including Windows, Windows Server 2012 and 2016, MacOS, and Linux
  • Configure, manage, and maintain a Microsoft cloud environment consisting of Azure and Office 365
  • Deploy new or update existing features and tools within Azure and Office 365 infrastructure
  • Works in conjunction with the Cloud Solutions Engineer to aid in deploying various solutions within our cloud environment, including serverless solutions
  • Comply with security and disaster recovery procedures and update the policies as needed
  • Comply with defined internal SLAs, by ensuring applications availability, analyzing failures, and proposing improvements to prevent recurring issues
  • Research the best solution based on requirements developed with the customer, configures the chosen solution to customer specifications, integrate the solution with other business systems, and secure the technology according to industry security best practices
  • Establish and enforce appropriate end-user access controls for all cloud-based applications
  • Review and deploy cloud system releases and vendor-supplied patches according to departmental policies and industry best practices
  • Anticipate, identify, respond to, and resolve issues with cloud-based applications and associated systems
  • Enforcement of compliance frameworks such as PCI, SOC2, and HIPAA on all covered applications where applicable
  • Researches and make recommendations on cloud products, services, and standards in support of procurement, development, operations, and application management efforts
  • Monitor, analyze, and predict trends for cloud infrastructure performance, space allocation, and data growth to recommend and implement enhancements as necessary
  • Develop and maintain cloud application support and architecture documentation
  • Monitor and maintain the health of CSD's supported cloud-based applications
  • Other duties as assigned


To perform the essential functions of this position successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Managing enterprise-class cloud-based solutions such as Office365, Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Dynamics 365, and other similar platforms
  • Configuring and managing contact center platforms such as Five9
  • Understanding of video-based telephony technology such as SIP, H.323
  • Managing a small data center with hosted providers
  • Web servers, such as WordPress, CPanel, Apache, and Plesk
  • Active Directory domain management
  • Windows AND Linux server design, implementation, and management
  • Helpdesk ticket tracking system
  • Compliance frameworks such as PCI, NIST 800-53, and SOC2
  • Enterprise networking technologies, including firewalls, switches, and WAN management
  • System and network security techniques and practices


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum four years of professional experience as a systems and/or network administrator (STRONGLY PREFERRED)
  • Minimum two years of professional experience working with Azure, Office 365, and AWS/GCP (REQUIRED)
  • Professional experience managing compliance frameworks such as SSAE16, PCI, or HIPAA (PREFERRED)
  • AWS, CCNP/CCIE, MCSE/MCSA, or other professional certifications (PREFERRED)
  • Ability to communicate effectively using American Sign Language (PREFERRED)

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

This position is moderately self-directed and requires understanding and compliance with company policies, procedures, and values. The position works in a standard office environment utilizing a computer and standard office equipment and meeting with consumers in homes, schools, and public environments. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to interact collaboratively with the team and stakeholders and communicate via phone, videophone, or text messaging. The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds occasionally. The position may require to travel up to 5%.

Salary Description
$75,000 - $80,000/year
