As a QC Analyst I, supporting our QC, Analysis and Test Service Team, you will be trusted to support release product that meets required quality and manufactured standards to affiliates and the public at our Fort Worth North Manufacturing Facility in Fort Worth, Texas US.
 

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Perform routine analysis of raw materials, finished goods, products, packaging components, complaints, investigations per schedule and per standards/SOPs.
  • Collect and analyze critical utility and/or environmental samples.
  • Collect, calculate, and interpret test results.
  • Enter and report test results.
  • Take ownership and execute revisions for SOPs and ATP's related to testing programs, laboratory operations and/or equipment operation.
  • Perform investigative testing to support laboratory investigations.
  • Conduct peer review of data collected by co-workers.
  • Train analysts on internal procedures and test methods.
  • GDP GMP Documentation, review and corrections.
  • Operating and basic troubleshooting instrumentation
  • Knowledge of LIMS, TrackWise, Metasys.
 

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +8 yrs; Assoc.+4 yrs)
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
  • Work hours: Monday – Friday from 8:00am – 5:00pm (some off shift support may be required)
  • Travel Requirements: 0 to 10%
