In this role, a typical day will include:
- Growing and developing a strong understanding of all toolroom tools and machines and their capabilities
- Completing full PM on all molds and machinery
- Completing mold changeovers at press/toolroom
- Able to PM and assemble Silicone Mold, Mixer and Barrel
- Able to properly use Mics and other precision machinist tools
- Reading drawings, diagrams, sketches, specifications, prints, manuals
- Properly pulling and PM valve stems (controllers)
- Utilizing basic knowledge of mold hydraulic systems and repair/maintenance of hydraulic cylinders
- Working with and training Contract Labor
- Maintaining mold common/wear/disposable parts inventory
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English 2 Years of Relevant Experience
- Work hours: 1st shift (10 hours): Monday – Thursday, 4:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Travel Requirements: 0 – 10%
