Laborer- Central Texas

Job Description
Responsibilities
- Work on roofs, multi-level structures, scaffolds and ladders.
- Shovel dirt and/or rubble.
- Maintain a clean job site: pick up all tools and equipment and secures job site each day to eliminate potential hazards.
- Perform material handling and storage.
- Load and unload trucks, manually haul and/or hoist materials.
- Ensure that work is performed in a safe manner; ensures that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed; convey problems to the attention of foreman, superintendent or safety manager.
- Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor on construction projects.
- Perform manual work in preparing surfaces.
Requirements
- Commercial construction site experience referred
- Must pass pre-hire screenings
Travel
- May be required to travel between, to, and from job-sites.
Physical Demands
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, extreme cold, and extreme heat. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; and high and/or precarious places. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne articles, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Hours of Work
- This is a full-time position.
- This position frequently requires longer hours and weekend hours. Field management will determine appropriate hours of operation for their respective jobsites, which may vary.
