Basic Energy Services provides services that are fundamental to establishing and maintaining the flow of oil and natural gas through the productive life of a well. Our range of well site services in the United States extends from well servicing to water logistics to completion and remedial services.

We were founded in 1992 as Sierra Well Service, Inc., a Delaware corporation and in 2000, we became Basic Energy Services, Inc.

Our regionally-managed operations are concentrated in major onshore oil and natural gas producing regions located in Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Wyoming, North Dakota, California and Colorado. We focus on liquids-rich basins with recent histories of strong drilling and production economics, as well as natural gas-focused shale plays characterized by prolific reserves.
