Overview

The Bonadio Group is currently seeking a Learning and Development Specialist to support L&D within our Tax and Small Business Advisory (SBA) Service Lines at The Bonadio Group. The ideal person for the position will be a problem solver with exceptional content design, development, and faciliation skills, in addition to the ability to multitask, manage complex schedules, and meet changing deadlines.

Responsibilities
    Align learning objectives to Service Line area competencies, expectations, and job skills and recommend improvements based on data-driven insights
  • Form effective and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders Tax and SBA Service Lines, including Learning Advisors and key Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to effectively execute learning programs applicable to the Service Line
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify learning needs and develop comprehensive learning strategies aligned with the Tax and SBA Service Line goals, as well as in alignment with the L&D Team and key Firm initiatives
  • Analyze learning needs through job skill analysis, and continuously assess the effectiveness of learning programs through feedback mechanisms, evaluations, and performance metrics to recommend learning solutions
  • Perform industry research to understand and support Tax and SBA learning initiatives that meet or exceed industry training standards, including programs using various formats including group discussion, lecture, simulations, videos, etc.
  • Maintains job aids, guides, and vendor-provided content and trainings specific to learning within the applicable Service Line including annual content reviews, updates, and managing expirations in coordination with the Curriculum Development Specialist
  • Maintain content within Learning Management Systems, Firm Intranet and SharePoint, including posting relevant training opportunities, monthly reminders, and announcements
  • Coordinate all aspects of orientation and new hire training for staff, interns, and experienced hires within the service lines
  • Responsible for end-to-end logistics in setting-up, supporting, and closing out internal and vendor-provided learning events, coordinating all aspects of the learning process. Completes training tasks related to both internal and external trainings including technical support and vendor communication
  • Responsible for administering the Workday learning management system, including implementing process enhancements, maintaining integrations and documentation, providing technical support and training on the system
  • Provide reporting to the Service Line on course enrollments, completions, self-study progress, evaluations
  • Maintain knowledge of the latest trends in learning and development
  • Miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • A minimum of five years in accounting, or similar professional services environment, with a strong understanding of relevant regulations, tax laws, and financial principles
  • Demonstrated experience in curriculum development, instructional design, and training facilitation, preferably in a professional services environment
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels

Hours of Operation:

  • Our office hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday
  • Our summer hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Friday
  • We pride ourselves on our flexibility; however at peak times additional hours may be required
