Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned individual to lead a team exempt level Managers with responsibility for 4 shifts of skilled team members. The right candidate will have a proven track record in some key areas:

Pay Class and Pay

Pay Class: Full Time

Pay: $91,727.11 - $122,302.81 per hour

Essential Responsibilities:

Responsible for driving results and achieving operational goals and targets identified in "Key Performance Indicators" (KPI).

Develop and implement consistent processes and procedures to support efficient operations and enhance customer satisfaction.

Identify opportunities for improvement and utilize structured problem-solving techniques to create and implement solutions.

Manage consistent improvement efforts across all facility areas (quality, capacity, costs, etc.), that eliminate non-value-added processes and waste.

Identify bottlenecks in the Manufacturing order flow and solve to a root cause correction.

Work closely with other staff members to maintain a well cross trained workforce.

Responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, coaching, and counseling associates.

Practice, comply and enforce all requirements of our Quality Management System (QMS), as well as regulations promoting a safe and healthy workplace environment.

Identify cost saving opportunities while aligning the continuous improvement initiatives and company's operation plan.

Assist Manufacturing and Distribution with problem solving by teaching, guiding, and leading teams through structured techniques such as 6S and Kaizen.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Combination of education and experience will be considered.

LEAN Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.

Experience & Background:

Five (5) plus years managing in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Front line leadership experience in an environment with advanced automated equipment and systems.

Hands on experience managing a diverse workforce in a fast-paced environment.

Proficient in Microsoft Office products.

Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

Language Skills:

Ability to read and comprehend complex, English instructions, correspondence, and/or memos is required, as is the capacity to write similar correspondence relaying opportunities or findings.

Skill to effectively present information in one-on-one and group settings is necessary.

Bilingual ability, particularly in Spanish, is desirable.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to perform the analytical mathematics demanded by the business functions. Aptitude to perform these operations using standard units of measurement, distance, weight, volume, and currency.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to think logically in following procedures and instructions

General problem-solving abilities

Ability to apply analytical tools and common understanding to carry out detailed written and/or oral instructions and interpret diagrams and/or forms.

Must possess capacity to deal with complex problems and situations involving multiple variables in standardized situations.
